Letterbox Love #23

Letterbox Love is the UK's version of IMM, hosted by the lovely Lynsey at Narratively Speaking :)

So I'm a bit late with this this week! Sorry about that, I was just a bit busy yesterday in London at TFiOS Live! (Which was absolutely brilliant)

For review:
While the Others Sleep by Tom Becker (Not heard of this before, but it was a nice surprise! Always up for a bit of horror. Thanks Scholastic!)
The Tragedy Paper by Elizabeth LaBan (This sounds really interesting. Thanks Random House!)
Mila 2.0 by Debra Driza (Thanks HarperCollins!)
Not pictured - Scarlet by Marissa Meyer (read this this week and it was even better than Cinder. Thank you Penguin!)

Won:
Blackwood by Gwenda Bond
Poltergeeks by Shaun Cummings (Won both of these and lots of other Strange Chemistry sway from the lovely Bella at Cheezyfeet Books. Thank you!)

Bought:
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green (signed and Hanklerfished! And I didn't technically buy this, but it kind of came with the ticket. TFiOS Live was probably the best book event I've ever been too. It kind of transcended the book event and was much more of a show - Hank was there too and he sung some songs. Sadly, I didn't meet them personally because queues and they couldn't persoanlise stuff because of time constraints and I'd only bought Paper Towns with me that wasn't signed anyway, but the experience itself was immense and I hope they don't take another 2-3 year break from coming back!)

  1. It's a shame you didn't actually get to meet JG but at least you really loved the event!! I really wanna read The Tragedy Paper, it sounds really good!
