Waiting on Wednesday #60

The Catastrophic History of You and Me
Jess Rothenburg
February 21st 2012

"Inventive, gorgeous, funny and yes . . . heartbreaking. You will absolutely love this book." — Lauren Oliver, New York Times bestselling author of Before I Fall and Delirium.

Dying of a broken heart is just the beginning.... Welcome to forever.

BRIE'S LIFE ENDS AT SIXTEEN: Her boyfriend tells her he doesn't love her, and the news breaks her heart—literally.

But now that she's D&G (dead and gone), Brie is about to discover that love is way more complicated than she ever imagined. Back in Half Moon Bay, her family has begun to unravel. Her best friend has been keeping a secret about Jacob, the boy she loved and lost—and the truth behind his shattering betrayal. And then there's Patrick, Brie's mysterious new guide and resident Lost Soul . . . who just might hold the key to her forever after.

With Patrick's help, Brie will have to pass through the five stages of grief before she's ready to move on. But how do you begin again, when your heart is still in pieces?

TCHOYAM (I am loving all of the long titles lately ;) But they sure are a hassle to write out all the time...) looks brilliant! It seems like it'll be the perfect cross between contemporary and a little bit of paranormal, so it's all exciting! Also, it sounds brilliantly original and I love the sound of it, as well as the beautiful cover! Those colours!

What are you waiting on this Wednesday?

  6. Great minds think alike, because that the first thing I did when I first saw the title was abbreviate it. And I think it looks like the perfect cross as well! A blogging pal of mine reviewed it and ever since I've been pining.

    Have an awesome reading week!

  10. I can't freakin' WAIT for this book! Doesn't it sound awesome?! The cover! <3 AND THE TITLE. The title is THE BEST. I so get what you mean about long titles, there's getting to be an increasing number of them and they are so fun to say. Like SPOLAFS. LOL.
